Jim Wermert

Jim Wermert is a seasoned health care industry executive with over thirty years of experience identifying, establishing, measuring, managing and maintaining health plan, health system, physician group and employer relationships. He brings a seasoned understanding of demand assessment and the resulting strategic and operational planning, relationships with employers and members, customer service processes, and marketing/customer retention strategies.

Mr. Wermert has provided business development, strategy/planning consulting, and organizational design and development services to a number of health plans, Integrated Delivery Networks, employers and other healthcare companies in disease management, pharmaceuticals, predictive software development etc. Mr. Wermert has served as a Partner with APM (acquired by CSC), a founder of Healthspring, Inc. (acquired by United Healthcare), President of Healthplan Management Services, Inc. (a subsidiary of John Hancock Financial Services), a Regional Vice President of American Medical International (now Tenet), and a Principal with Kurt Salmon Associates. Mr. Wermert holds an MBA from the Harvard Business School and a BA from Cornell University.
